Standard Chartered Bank, TechProcess Solns Partner For E-Comm

TechProcess Solutions Limited, has tied up with Standard Chartered Bank to offer online payment solutions to the Bank's customers. Under this partnership, Standard Chartered Bank account holders will be able to access TechProcess' network of web merchants to pay for products & services online directly through their Standard Chartered Bank accounts.

TechProcess' gateway is integrated with merchants from various sectors such as travel and ticketing, film tickets, entertainment, flower delivery services, education institutes, prepaid recharge, telecom, insurance, and utilities.  The addition of Standard Chartered Bank will enable these web merchants to sell services to and collect payments from millions of Standard Chartered Bank customers.

In recent years, more and more customers are shopping online. According to a report published by Internet and Mobile Association of India (IMAI) & Indian Market Research Bureau (IMRB), 'Active Internet Users' - those who use internet at least once a month - rose to 52 million in September 2009 from 42 million a year earlier. With the growth of Internet usage, including for shopping, the security of payment transactions has become critically important for customers, banks, and merchants alike. The TechProcess’ payment gateway has adopted stringent safety measures to ensure that customers can transact online without fear of their personal and confidential information being compromised.
