eGestalt SecureGRC Marries Security Monitoring To GRC Functions

by Biztech2 Staff 19th February, 2010 in Policies & Compliance

eGestalt has announced the availability of SecureGRC, a solution that provides end-to-end integration of security monitoring with IT-Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (IT-GRC) management solutions using a cloud-based delivery model. The combined solution provides an ability to address all enterprise needs around security, compliance and risk management and provides automation and integration of policy controls to manage security and IT-GRC related issues. A number of cost and ownership models are available. There is a SaaS model coupled with an on-premises deployment or a completely on-demand cloud based service subscription offering.

Information security is assuming critical importance for hassle-free transactions in enterprises, financial institutions, government, defense, police and individuals. Demand for a solution that enables end-to-end integration of security monitoring and IT-GRC solutions has been observed so that customers have a unified dashboard view of security and compliance management needs.

SecureGRC includes all security and IT-GRC functions required to be compliant with ready-to-use compliance frameworks, context-based inference engines, advanced alert processing and an easy-to-use logging and monitoring solution. It has built-in framework support for RBI Compliance, NSE, BSE, MCDEX, PCI, ISO, COBiT, SOX, BASEL II, HIPAA, FISMA, and other country specific frameworks, which are ready to use. SecureGRC integrates, synergises and transforms information from various sources into alert-raising actionable solutions, thus, helping in identifying the source of the attempted attack through pattern and correlation analysis, and plugging the loophole before it takes major dimensions.

The Integrated SecureGRC solution leverages and builds upon the standards compliance solution (from ControlCase), data loss prevention and net forensics solutions (from NetWitness), and end-device security solutions (from Safend).

This product is available immediately.
