Tech Mahindra, the provider of solutions and services to the telecommunication industry has announced inauguration of a cloud competency lab at its Hinjewadi facility in Pune, India. Tech Mahindra’s strategic intent is to be cloud advisor, enabler and manager in cloud services ecosystem. This will enable its clients to choose from best-of-breed technologies and integrate them to meet their business objective of growing revenue on cloud based services.

As part of its service, the lab will provide playground for its customers to conduct proof of concepts before deploying large scale environments and to assess current environment such as infrastructure and application foot print to deliver a clear outcome-based "Cloud Adoption Roadmap" report.  Tech Mahindra's partners can access the lab globally to build solutions. A dedicated research team consisting of domain experts in Billing, CRM, Portal, Business Intelligence and Infrastructure technologies with dedicated product managers is developing various service offerings using this lab as key platform enabler. The cloud competency lab will further help customers experience Tech Mahindra’s products and cloud solutions which will help them make informed decisions in applying these to support their business strategies.

"Cloud services are playing a significant role in transforming businesses worldwide and our focus is to build cloud specific solutions, invest in skills and infrastructure for labs and build professional services strength by up-skilling our talent pool. Tech Mahindra's vision on Cloud services is to be a preferred services partner for Telecom/Communications Services Provider (TSP) by leveraging our deep experience in telecom IT systems and strategic partner relationships. This will help our customers realise the value proposition of Tech Mahindra's Cloud Services landscape and further leverage partner ecosystem to create specific solutions," said Vikas Gupta, Vice President, Cloud Competency, Tech Mahindra.
